BOOST ADHD
If you’re a clinician, educator, or parent who supports a child with ADHD, you already know how complex things can get. Big emotions. School struggles. Overwhelm! And this is despite each person in the child's life working really hard - but not always together... That’s why we created BOOST ADHD—a practical, neuro-affirming program that brings everyone onto the same page.

For Clinicians
For Educators
For Parents/Carers
BOOST is a structured, flexible framework designed to help ADHD children thrive by connecting the people around them – parents, teachers, and therapists – in a shared understanding and coordinated approach.
Each part of the program is tailored to its audience:
- Clinicians are trained to guide and coach families and schools through the framework
- Parents/Carers learn how to tune into their child’s needs, strengths, and challenges, and respond with meaningful understanding, not just generic ADHD strategies
- Educators are equipped with tools to reduce stress in the classroom, support regulation, and strengthen relationships
Together, we focus on what’s most important: helping the child feel safe, understood, and supported.
How it works
BOOST follows a simple, step-by-step approach that starts by understanding each child’s:
- Strengths, interests, and preferences
- Challenges and sensitivities
- Environment (home + school)
- Individual needs and goals
From there, the framework helps teams work together to:
- Adjust environments before expecting behavioural change
- Build helpful systems of support
- Strengthen the child’s own skills and sense of self over time
Clinicians receive training in the full model, and then guide parents/carers and educators through the process – using shared language, helpful worksheets, video content, and tailored planning tools.
What you’ll gain
- Parents/Carers: Confidence, clarity, and support in responding to your child’s unique brain and emotional/behavioural expressions
- Educators: Practical tools and real insight into how ADHD shows up in the classroom and what really helps
- Clinicians: A clear framework to structure therapy, reduce session overload, and foster better collaboration with families and schools
- ADHD Child: A felt sense of being heard, understood, and accepted for who they are, with support systems to scaffold healthy development
Why it matters
BOOST was created by Dr Nick Marsden, a clinical psychologist who’s worked with ADHD kids for over 15 years and is both an ADHD parent and an adult who lives unapologetically with ADHD. He has poured his heart and soul into the development of BOOST using his lived experience, clinical insight, and deeply held belief in connection over correction.
Nick believes that when everyone around an ADHD child understands why things are hard and how to help, that child has a much better chance of thriving throughout their development.
