Amber is warm, thoughtful, and down-to-earth in the way she connects with children, teenagers, and their families. She creates a safe and supportive space where young people feel comfortable to share their thoughts and feelings, and where parents feel included and supported along the way. She enjoys helping children and teens with a wide range of challenges including worries, low mood, OCD, ADHD, autism, selective mutism, learning differences, giftedness, and behaviour concerns. Amber has a special interest in supporting neurodivergent and gender-diverse young people, and always works in a way that feels inclusive and affirming.
In sessions, Amber takes a flexible and collaborative approach, tailoring strategies to suit each child and family. She often draws on evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), but what matters most to her is building a strong, trusting relationship so that children feel safe, understood, and empowered. Above all, Amber is committed to helping young people build confidence, resilience, and practical tools they can carry with them long after therapy.
