Patricia, known to many as Trish, brings warmth, honesty, and care to supporting people through stress and uncertainty, while fostering deeper self-understanding and healing from challenging life and family experiences. She takes a holistic view of wellbeing, recognising the deep connections between physical and mental health, identity and relationships. Trish has particular interests in women’s health, ADHD, PTSD, complex trauma, stress and burnout, as well as the everyday challenges that come with relationships, parenting, caring roles, and significant life transitions.

Informed by both professional knowledge and lived experience, Trish creates a respectful, supportive space where people feel understood, valued and encouraged. Her approach is collaborative and flexible, drawing on trauma-aware, attachment-based and relational ways of working to support people in what matters most to them.

Alongside her clinical work, Trish is actively involved in research across public health, psychology, and implementation science. She was an Early Career Fellow at UNSW’s School of Public Health, where she co-led the Child and Adolescent Health theme. She currently holds Honorary Research Fellow roles at The George Institute for Global Health and Ngarruwan Ngadju First Peoples Health and Wellbeing Research Centre at the University of Wollongong. Trish’s research focuses on improving health pathways for young people, women, and families impacted by trauma, injury, and violence. She works in close partnership with communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, to co-design services that are responsive, respectful, and meaningful.

Whether in the therapy room or research setting, Trish is known for her authenticity, care, and commitment to positive change.
